I have been working as a Clinical Psychologist for over 30 years and continue to enjoy and appreciate the opportunity to work collaboratively with my clients. My work is guided by a range of approaches including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. My fees are $170 for a 55 minute consultation. Payment may be made by eftpos, cash or direct credit. Cancellations with less than 24 hours notice will incur a fee of $85.00. Sessions not attended or cancelled with less than 4 hours will incur the full fee.
Background and Work Experience
I graduated from Victoria University in 1983 with an MA (Applied) Distinction in Clinical and Community Psychology.
I worked for the Auckland District Health Board from 1984 until 1989, mostly in Community Mental Health Centres.
From 1987 until 2001 I worked part-time at Fertility Associates Auckland and since 2001 I have been in private practice.
From 2001 until 2012 I also worked as a cast glass artist exhibiting and selling glass in New Zealand, Australia and beyond.
